•Each account is individually underwritten to ensure the insurance coverage provided are tailored to the specific needs of the client.
•Each account is reviewed annually to adjust coverage, should there be any changes in actual exposures
•Policies are available on either a Scheduled or Blanket basis. Scheduled policies provide a pre-agreed amount on every item covered. This helps to pre-qualify a loss before it happens. The Blanket policy provides a total loss limit, and the valuation of individual items are determined at the time of loss - based upon the current cash market value of the item(s) involved. Blanket policies are generally subject to a maximum per item limit ($2,500, $5,000, or $10,000 each) and usually require more work for the insured at the time of loss.
•Coverage is provided on a world-wide basis.
•Policies are usually written with no deductibles.
•Such a policy provides automatic coverage for new acquisitions up to 25% of the total amount of the current Fine Arts coverage for a period of up to 90 days from acquisition.
•As each account is underwritten individually, rates can vary substantially based upon location, composition of the collection, fire protection, security, and loss history.
